Please call the office for information regarding Campus Ministry meetings and events.

Canterbury Campus Ministry will now meet during the regular school schedule. no meetings on school breaks or holidays.

On Wendnesdays Meditation Mass service begins at 12:05 PM. The mass is followed by a light soup and salad lunch and discussion.

Campus Ministry Worship Tuesdays at 6:00 pm followed by a light dinner.

Recent Events:

Day of Peace
For many years we have hosted activities on the UNM campus on September 21st to celebrate the UN International Day of Peace and the World Council of Churches Day of Prayer for Peace. This year the Inter Religious Council joined us to host an Interfaith Prayer Vigil. More than 60 students took time to write their prayers for peace.

Knitted and Crocheted Toys for Christmas
Thank you to everyone who has helped knit and crochet the toys for children that Luther House has distributed at Christmas for the last three years. We have already started on toys for 2010. This year we plan to work with Iglesia Luterana Cristo Rey in El Paso, and the Camino de Vida ministry in SW Albuquerque. If you would like to help with this project, please start crocheting or knitting. You can use any pattern you like or get one from us. The important thing is to use acrylic yarn and polyester stuffing so the toys can be washed, and to embroider all the facial features (no buttons or chocking hazards). Thanks!

Fill the Freezer for Campus Ministry Dinners
Students, faculty and staff from UNM and CNM worship at St. Thomas of Canterbury on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm followed by dinner and on Wednesdays at 12:05 followed by lunch. You can help by filling our freezer with cookies and casseroles. Students eat just about everything and lots of it. Some are vegans or vegetarians. Please mark whatever you make so we know what’s in it. Just phone the campus ministry office and will find a time for you to
drop things off 243-0336. Thank You!

Episcopal Student Gathering 2011
The next National Episcopal Student Gathering will be held in Estes Park, CO, December 28-January 1, 2011. College student from around the country meet together every two years. For more information contact Campus Pastor Anne Morawski at 243-0336.
