Children's Christian Education
Canterbury's Church School meets at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday morning and adjourns in time for the children to join their parents in receiving Holy Communion.
Church School teachers are recruited from the congregation and work in teams of two or three to ensure that the needs of the children are met. Children are currently grouped into four classes: preschool (3-4 years old), K-5, middle school, and high school.
Children's Nursery
He said to them.... "Come and see." (John, 1:39)
An
attractively decorated and well-equipped nursery is also available
for the 10 o'clock service each Sunday and is sometimes available
during special parish events.
Available are a large number of toys geared for ages 0-3. Please feel free to explore and play with your child!
The
nursery is equipped with a new speaker system. So it is easy to
listen to the service and spend time with your young child.
Caregivers are encouraged to bring their young children to the service for communion.
